As you all know, I'm a political animal, so I was delighted to find the following email and picture in my In-Box this morning. And now, all the way from Wrightsville Beach, here's Kelly in his own words:

"Seems the latest happenings around Washington have brought excitement around the house. A friend in Chapel Hill, NC's fine feline, Calamity (Clams for short), was rapt with attention as CNN showed "Scooter" Libby being whisked away in his last limo ride from work.... While Clams was reportedly more interested in Rove, she got great enjoyment and was all aglee over Scooter being scooted away... In a twisted piece of fate, while staring at this picture, GRAY, who had been known to mewl at the site of Bush, suddenly leaped on to my desk, totally taken by the whole affair!"
